Where have I been?????

Bad, bad blooger.....it's been a long time since I have been on here. Life has been busy. Last Sunday we got back from vacation, we had a fabulous time. The Outer Beaches is our favorite place to go and we haven't been there for two years, so it was really nice to go back and relax. Sitting in the sun, boogie boarding, taking walks and naps is the extent of our vacation and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was kinda sad to come back home and get back to reality. I have some awesome pictures too, which I will share.

So what's up with me you ask, well my baby is crawling. Who told her she was aloud to grow up, I can't believe it. She is into everything and yesterday she even pulled herself up and then fell back down quickly, but still...I wish she would slow down a bit.

I haven't been scrapping lately, just too busy, but my scissors are still in use. With the prices of everything going up I have decided to cut coupons and I am having fun too. It's like a game to try to get something for nothing. My favorite site is Money Saving Mom and Freebies 4 Mom,there are few others and I will link them at the side of my blog. These ladies are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to coupons and freebies. I am in awe of them and I am trying to learn everything I can. To feed a family of 6 can be quite expensive and with the tips on couponing, plus where to find coupons, I have actually started saving money. I am also loving CVS, and their ECB Bucks, learn more about CVS and ECB's here. I'll post pictures of my buys and total savings weekly.

Now for some pictures of our vacation, I love to do family photo shoots and the beach is a perfect backdrop, put everyone in white shirts and you have the perfect family photo.

I have alot more pictures, I just printed 182 from Walmart and still have alot I didn't print so I will post a few each day this week.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!

It's my birthday, another year older and wiser, I am not so sure about the latter one...but I am older. I remember when I thought someone in their 30's were old, but I am here to say that 33 is not old, I might have a few grey hairs (that's why they made hair coloring) but I am definately not over the hill. LOL Guy went to Lowes yesterday and got me a swing for the back-yard, so now me and Aly will have a place to sit and watch the kids play. Bryce wants to take me out for ice-cream tonight, his treat...isn't he the sweetest. I even got some money, I think I am going to save it though, I have been contemplating getting a new camera. I love my Kodak EasyShare, but I want something better and have been looking at the Canon Rebel. So if I start saving I should have enough by Christmas.

Everyone is finally feeling better, praise the Lord. So today I need to clean and start packing for vacation. I can't believe we leave in 4 days....

icky sicky

It has not been a great weekend for us, we all had the stomache flu except Guy. Yes even I got it, I felt so horrible on Friday that I had to call Guy at work and he came home to take care of Aly and Nate. I am so happy we got it this weekend instead of next weekend, that would not be a great vacation.

Weigh-in Monday well I am happy to report that I am down 20 pounds since February. Whoohoo, I am now below my pre-pregnancy weight. I did have cake yesterday, my mother-in-law made it for my birthday, so I couldn't say I don't want it. Just a small piece and it was oh so good. I absolutely love peanut butter melt-away cake...yummy.

The kids are almost done with school, only 3 more days. Bryce has 6th grade graduation on Thursday, hard to believe. Everyone is more than ready to be done, and mom is soooo ready to sleep-in and no packing lunches.
