Sectional Champ in da house!!!!!

Bryce had a birthday this week, can hardly believe that he is 12 already. He just got done filling out his schedule for next year. High School!!!! Boy am I feeling old. On Tuesday he went to J.O.'s (junior olympics for wrestlers) and he got 1st place, so this Saturday he goes to Philipsburg to wrestle and if he wins he goes to States in Erie. His goal this year was to make it to regionals which he now did, so anything else is just icing on the cake. I went to see him wrestle on Tuesday and he did awesome. The first kid he wrestled he picked up off his feet (yes Guy, young guns is helping)won the match 4-2 and the second kid he decked (pinned). It was nice to watch. Little miss Aly didn't enjoy it so much, she hated the buzzers and all the screaming people, she was happy to leave.

Here is some layouts I have been working on.

I did this layout for a contest at kits & pieces.

This is made from a paint can, a new one not used, I wanted to add some spring to my kitchen. Trying to chase away the winter blahs. Caitlynn really wanted to make one too, but I didn't have anymore paint cans. I did have some hot chocolate cans, so this is what she did.

I think they turned out great.

Have a great weekend!!!

Newest Layouts

Hey all, so todays post isn't going to be alot of talking from me. I want to show you what I have been up to.
This is the calendar I have been working on, I absolutely love it. I am going to do one for each month, and when I am done I am going to have a great scrapbook for
2008. The journaling includes, Dr. appointments, shows we watch, things the kids say and do and anything else that would be forgotten. I think I am even going to go back and do this for 2007.

Isn't she just the sweetest????

He is so proud to finally be a big brother!!

Quote of the day from Nate:
Nate knows his mama all too well, today we were driving to the church and he said, "Mom today is a good day". I asked him why it was a good day, he told me because there was no snow on the road, so that I could drive and no be afraid. Such a sweet kid. Okay I'm off, have a great day and God bless.

Wrestling on the Brain

Winter is the time for snowmen, sled-riding and snowball fights, right? Not in this family it is the time for wrestling, during the winter we live, breathe and think about wrestling. Our family room is turned into a wrestling room and my two boys wrestle around, sometimes I am even get turned into a "wrestling dummy". Weekends are no longer family time, they are spent at wrestling tournaments and during the week is practice, sometimes driving over an hour to go to practice. Let me just say I am happy when the middle of March hits and wrestling season is over and our lives get back to normal. No matter how much I dislike it, my husband and son love this sport, and it gives them a chance to bond. Bryce is actually really good at the sport, he went to 8 tournaments and placed in 7. Due to all the working out he now has a six-pack, the boy has some muscles.

This is what Bryce refers to as the "Pack".

I don't want to leave Miss Pie out, so here is a recent photo of her. She just loves doing photo shoots, the boys bawl around and complain, but not her she poses like a super model.

She is really growing up and so pretty, not my baby girl anymore.

Here's a picture of all 4 of them, not the best but atleast I have them all together. Since wrestling is almost over, I'll have to do a photo shoot with all the kids.

I have been really scrapbooking lately, now that Aly is on somewhat of a schedule. Boy did I miss cutting, glueing, and creating art. This month I did 59 layouts, I am on a scrapping role. Last night I made calendar layouts, I am going to do one for each month, I absolutely love them. Tomorrow I will upload them.

Have a great night and God Bless.

Sun, Snow, and Ladybugs oh my

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day, the sun was shining, the snow was melting and all those wonderful ladybugs were out in full force. Well 2 out 3 aren't bad. Nate was so excited about the warm day that he wanted to go swimming, that boy he is so ready for swimming, camping, and Grange Fair. My family should be proud of the fact that he is a true fair lover, it's just too bad that it isn't until August. Here is the latest pic of Nate, he is such a goofball, this picture just makes me smile.

Aly started sucking her thumb, isn't she just the cutest!!!! I love that she can self soothe, I just hope she doesn't suck it until she is 5 (maybe I can bribe her with a basket on her bike :) )

Well that is all for today, I have to go be a domestic godess, the laundry is being unruly.

God Bless,
Alesha

Tomorrow I will upload some pics of the kiddos.
